Donate resources

We redistribute previously loved books, toys and sporting equipment to previously disadvantaged target beneficiaries through our libraries.

The redistribution supports our programme objectives in literacy, early childhood development and sport development.

Deliveries can be made to our offices at Penreach and items will be given a new home.

Testimonials

In 2016, TRAC N4 initially supported one Lowveld school. As a result of the success of the program, which can be attributed to the hands on approach of the staff at Penreach, we have further extended our support to two more rural schools for 2017.

We have seen that children benefit from the Asifundze (Let’s Read) Literacy Programme. This occurs both in the classroom and also at home during afternoon reading camps. Children are encouraged to attend these community reading camps, which are run by Penreach trained volunteers. The camps not only encourage reading and comprehension, but feed the children and also keep them off the street.

TRAC N4 is very proud to be part of such a positive and successful multi layered project. This goes a long way in developing skills in foundation phase children, teachers and also volunteers. Coupled with this, it simultaneously contributes to socio economic growth in our local communities.

Bailey Nkuna, National Reading Coalition Project Manager

“We are here in our numbers to honour our teachers and to ensure that the teaching profession stays relevant and on par with the best in the world. We are all quite aware that education is the greatest equaliser which enables children from poor background to be on the same par with children from well-to-do communities.

The DoE supports Penreach’s vision of stepping into a future where Information and Communication Technology (ICT), especially in STEAM- (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) based learning can enhance teaching and learning in all phases.”
