PENREACH – GET INVOLVED DURING COVID-19
To feed vulnerable children and their families in Ehlanzeni
FROM 6 APR TO 19 JUNE
We have served communities with food packs
We find ourselves in unprecedented and uncertain times.
Penreach fully supports the decisive action taken by President Cyril Ramaphosa to institute a lockdown as well as the actions to help mitigate the health, labour market and economic impacts of the lockdown and Coronavirus.
Although Penreach offices are closed temporarily we are working from home to support our beneficiaries and communities.
Many children rely on schools and Early Childhood Development Centres for their one nutritious meal of the day and it is often their only meal. Penreach recognises the impact that the cessation of this service has on the health of these vulnerable children and their future learning abilities. In response, and making use of our extensive network and partners we are distributing food to vulnerable children and their families as a response to the current food security crisis.
PENREACH CARES CAMPAIGN
While this has started as a Campaign to respond to this crisis, Penreach Cares has now evolved as a core value proposition in line with our founding principles. The campaign and the way we operate will always demonstrate that at the heart of Penreach lies caring. Caring about certain topics, caring about people, caring about education and caring about the environment.
We invite our friends, family, and partners to join us to support our efforts and our programmes through caring, involvement or thoughtful action.
Get involved by;
– Sharing our story
– Advocating for Penreach
– Donating towards the cause
– Being kind and caring to others and yourself
